We are a collection of 15 members (and growing) ranging from grades 7-12. Through our club, students learn invaluable soft and hard skills that will help them in their future careers. While designing and constructing the season’s robot, students learn CAD (computer-assisted design) and gain hands-on engineering experience. Though programming is a try-out-only section of the club, students are given the opportunity to learn different coding languages and participate in workshops. Through outreach and fundraising events, students learn important soft skills such as leadership, event organization, and professional writing. They are also prepared for a presentation where they are able to showcase skills they learned throughout the year. In early meetings, we like to pool our allowances together to partake in a gourmet 40-piece McNugget together! While simultaneously collecting all the Happy Meal toys we can!
